Introduction

The Cannons Creek Fanau Centre is located in Cannons Creek, Porirua. It is one of six Family Service Centres in New Zealand. The other 5 centres are located in Mangere, Otara, Huntly, Opotiki and Motueka (South Island) The key feature of the centre is the provision of integrated services to children and families in need of support. The mix of services is broad and includes early childhood education, family support and health services. These four core services are delieverd in one building along the line of "one stop shop" concept.
