History
  • To ensure that the voices and needs of children and young people, who are living in family violence situations, are heard and acted upon.
  • To assess safety of children and young people.
  • To enhance the services available in the community for children and young people affected by family violence.
  • To refer children and young people out to appropriate agencies and ensure that the child's needs are being addressed accordingly.
  • Provide consultancy, advice, coaching, education and support to those working with/for children and young people and their families.
  • To work with agencies and groups involved in supporting families to integrate services for individual children and young people known to be affected by family violence.
  • Provide education to individuals, families and community groups on the effects of family violence on children
