Cannons Creek Fanau Centre

INTRODUCTION

Cannons Creek Fanau Centre Childcare is a licensed childcare located in the heart of Cannons Creek. Our Childcare has an open plan area with outdoor and indoor play space, mat area, sleeping rooms, baby play space and bathroom facilities. We strive to help children experience their world in a positive way and to nurture their sense of self discovery. The programme is based on the Early Childhood Curriculum for New Zealand called "Te Whariki" and supports the needs, interests and strengths of children.

Days of Operation		Monday to Friday
Hours of Operation		8.30 am top 3.30 pm
Fees		$4.60 per hour. Families may be eligible for childcare subsidy from Work & Income New Zealand.
Staffing Ratio		Under 2 years - One adult to four children Over 2 years - One adult to six children.
Food		Parents provide food for their children (Staff are happy to prepare any hot meals supplied by parents)
Health		All Children attending must be immunized

Childcare Supervisor: Maureen Ngaira - Bachelor of Education, Diploma of Teaching Early childhood Education, Paediatric Childcare First Aid, Registered Teacher.

Childcare Teachers:

Setani Feaunati: Diploma of Pacific Islands Early Childhood Education, Cpmprehensive First Aid, Diploma of Teaching Early Childhood Education.

Staff have a combined Earlychildhood working experience of 11 Years.
